   Principal---Sister Ronald Marie
 

                                                Sister Ronald Marie is completing her twenty sixth year at St. James after teaching in Catholic schools in Watertown, Massena, Malone, Peru (NY), Carthage and Lake Placid. Sister received an Associates Degree from

          SUNY Canton, a Bachelors degree from Villa Maria College and a Masters

          degree from Niagara University. 

 

   Pre-School/Pre-K---Mrs. Bridgette LaPierre

                                       Mrs. Bridgette LaPierre is completing her first year as a part time
            Pre-School/Pre-K  teacher at St. James.  Mrs. LaPierre is a native of Gouverneur 
            and graduated from Gouverneur High School.  She received her Bachelors and

  Masters degrees from SUNY Potsdam.  She taught Kindergarten for one year at

  St. Mary’s School in Canton.  She is also a supervisor of student teachers for

  SUNY Potsdam.        

    Pre-K/Art---Miss Doriann Mullin

            Miss Doriann Mullin is beginning her first year at St. James as a part
            time Pre-K teacher University in Canton and received her Masters
            degree from SUNY Potsdam
 

   Kindergarten---Michelle Marrow

                   Mrs. Michelle Morrow is completing her first year as the Kindergarten
               teacher at St. James. Mrs. Morrow is a native of Gouverneur and a graduate
               of St. James School and Gouverneur High School. She received an
               Associates degree from Jefferson Community College, and Bachelors and Masters degrees from
               SUNY Potsdam.

 

   First Grade---Cassandra Streit
          
              Miss Cassie Streit is a graduate of St. Mary’s School., Canton.
            She is completing her third year at St. James. Ms. Streit received
            her Bachelors and Masters degrees from SUNY Potsdam.

  Second Grade---Mrs. Maureen Cloonan

         Mrs. Maureen Cloonan is a graduate of St. James School and
        Gouverneur High School. Mrs. Cloonan is completing
        her thirty fourth year as a teacher at St. James Mrs. Cloonan received
        her Associates degree from Mater Dei College and her Bachelors
        degree plus thirty graduate credit hours from SUNY Potsdam.


 

  Third Grade---Mrs. Kelly Sternisha

         Mrs. Kelly Sternisha is the third grade teacher who is completing
        her twentieth year at St. James School. Mrs. Sternisha received
        her Bachelors degree from SUNY Plattsburgh.

 

 

   Fourth Grade---Mrs. Jane Weldon

              Mrs. Jane Weldon is the fourth grade teacher at St. James and
            completing her nineteenth year at St. James School. Mrs. Weldon
            received her Bachelors degree with from SUNY Potsdam.
 

 

 

    Fifth Grade---Miss Susan Lillie

            Miss Susan Lillie is completing her thirty-sixth year of teaching in the Ogdensburg diocese and her
            thirty fifth year at St. James. She previously taught one year at Sacred Heart School in
            Watertown. Miss Lillie received her Bachelors degree from SUNY Oswego plus thirty graduate
            credit hours.
 

 

    Sixth Grade---Mrs. Kassie Hinrichs

             Mrs. Hinrichs is completing her sixth year at St. James as our sixth grade teacher. Mrs.
             Hinrichs received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from SUNY Potsdam.

    Music Education---Mrs. Beth Johnson

        Mrs. Beth Johnson is the Director of music for St. James School and Parish and is completing her
        sixth year at St. James but has actually been with us for twenty years as a volunteer.

    Phys. Ed.---Mrs. Connie Hartle

            Mrs. Connie Hartle is completing her thirteenth year as our physical education instructor. She
            provides wonderful activities for our students and is always looking for new ideas that she can
            add to her program.

    Title I---Mrs. Waltraud Evans

                Mrs. Waltraud Evans, a native of Germany, is our Title I aide who provides extra help for our
                students in our math and reading computer lab. Mrs. Evans has been an instructor for twelve years.

Library---Mr. Joseph Laurenza

                                        Mr. Joseph Laurenza, “Library Joe”, is a retired BOCES Principal who volunteers as our school
                                        Librarian. He also coordinates several school and community fundraisers.

Secretary---Mrs. Marie Frenyea

             Mrs. Marie Frenyea is our school secretary who will be completing her eighth year. She was a
             former Education Council member. Her three children are graduates of St. James School.

                                Cafeteria---Mrs. Sandy Maloy

                                         Mrs. Sandy Maloy is our cafeteria manager who has been employed at St. James for twelve years.
                                         She is also our after school program coordinator.


                                Custodian---Mr. John Cronk

                                         Mr. John Cronk has been our custodian for eighteen years. He oversees the care and operation
                                         of all building and grounds for the parish.
 

                                Custodian---Mr. Randy Abar

                                         Mr. Randy Abar will be completing his fifth year. He assists with school and parish maintenance.

 

                                Custodian---Mr. Calvin Walrath

                                         Mr. Calvin Walrath is our new school custodian. He was a former employee at Champlain
                                         Centre Mall, Plattsburgh.
